Hendrick Interiors is the culmination of Kate Ballou’s intensive experience as an interior designer working directly under top architects and designers in New York City and Washington, D.C.

Kate’s experience began at Rhode Island School of Design where she focused on drawing, painting and textile design for two years before transferring to Parsons The New School for Design in NYC. She received her BFA in Interior Design in 2007.

Kate’s design background and education have greatly influenced her personal design aesthetic of modern interiors that also reference a classic design language to create spaces that feel personal to each of her clients. She appreciates that beauty can be found in the pure expression of form, color and texture. Her focus on interiors includes custom designed furniture, carpets, lighting, and drapery that reflect her client's individual needs.
