Affixed with the remnants of a glass beaker and metal scale, this enigmatic instrument was once used as a quick reference for measurements. Made in France in the 20th Century, the intricate lattice-work is rendered in perfect detail, bringing the iconic monument to life. The dark finish is inflected with notes of verdigris and muted gold, lends an enigmatic touch to the instantly recognizable silhouette of ‘la dame de fer’. See less
