50797 Vintage Turkish Yastik Rug, 01'06 X 02'11.
Vintage Turkish Yastik rugs are the creme de la creme of small Anatolian rugs. Originally used as pillow covers, these beauties have a history as rich as their intricate designs. Yastik rug patterns are tiny replicas of ancient Turkish designs, making them a treasure trove for rug aficionados. Behold, this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish Yastik rug is a showstopper. The hexagonal center medallion sprinkled with pinwheel motifs a deep red canvas is simply mesmerizing. Each corner spandrel is adorned with an angular eight-point star flower, adding an extra layer of visual delight. Completing the look is a complementary star meander border that ties it all together.
