53731 Vintage Persian Tabriz Rug, 08'10 x 12'08.
Biophilic Design meets Art Nouveau in this vintage Persian Tabriz rug. The decorative garden design and earthy hues woven into this piece work together creating a look of worldy sophistication. Densely populated with blooming florals, undulating leafy stems sprinkled with flower heads, clusters of grapes and sprawling tree branches run from top to bottom covering the richly striated field of brown and green hues. Deer or antelop graze near the bottom of the trees while a repertoire of birds are perched on branches, hidden between the leaves. Double floral meander guard bands and an equally elaborate botanical border echoing the field pattern create a lush enclosure. Imbued with naturalism and earth-tone colors, this vintage Persian area rug beautifully embraces elements of Art Nouveau style.
Rendered in variegated shades of brown, green, tan, and beige with other neutral colors.
