The small brass vases are finely hand-chased with elaborate designs and presented on hand crafted wooden brackets inlaid with mother of pearl and Syrian style fret work decor.
Engraving (Ghalam-zani) is a term, for artistic metalworking, it is one of the original Persian handicraft, the art of engraving and embossing, hammering, repousse and chasing elaborate designs, patterns and shapes on metals such as copper, silver, gold, and brass to form minute detailed reliefs or small engraved patterns.
