Pigeons
Pablo Picasso
Year: of Original: 1943 | Year Printed: 1979-1982
Medium: Lithograph
Edition: 1000
Size: 22 in. x 30 in. (55.88 cm x 76.2 cm)
Framed Size: Unframed
Set against a washed black background, the two pigeons in this Pablo Picasso print appear lively due to the artist's use of quick, flowing lines that seem to insinuate movement. Mimicking the natural movements of birds, the artist's use of line is further exaggerated with the feet of the center pigeon. With Estate-approved Picasso signature printed below image. It also has in typeset under image, ‘Collection Marina Picasso’ and the copyright info in typeset right of image. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
