A handsome vintage Chinese stool crafted from solid elmwood, dating to the first half of the 20th century. The rectangular seat features a subtly upturned edge and rests on slender legs joined by gracefully shaped stretchers, giving the piece a refined architectural quality while retaining the simplicity of traditional Chinese country furniture.
