The rectangular top rests on slender legs, connected by traditional horizontal stretchers, with distinctive carved "sword" feet adding a subtle decorative element to its otherwise simple form. Generations of use have given the elm a beautifully aged surface, highlighting the natural grain, worn edges, color variations, and rich patina of the old wood.

Its compact proportions make this a wonderfully versatile table for an entryway, hallway, or smaller living space. The 19-inch depth also gives it enough surface area to function as a small writing table, side table, or display table for pottery and collected objects. Its restrained design and rustic character work beautifully in Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, eclectic, or contemporary interiors.
