Measuring an impressive two metres in length, this substantial equestrian sculpture has exceptional presence and is designed to become a commanding focal point within a garden or landscape. The horse is beautifully rendered with carefully observed anatomical detail, from the powerful musculature of the shoulders and hindquarters to the finely modelled face, legs and flowing mane. Its quiet grazing stance gives the sculpture a particularly natural appearance, allowing it to integrate convincingly into lawns, paddocks and landscaped grounds. Hollow-cast in genuine molten bronze using the traditional lost-wax method, the sculpture is finished with a rich dark brown patina that enhances the contours and sculptural modelling. Subtle variations and casting characteristics within the surface are inherent to the traditional bronze-making process and contribute to the individual character of the piece. Two integrated bolt-down fixing points allow the sculpture to be securely installed in its chosen position. At approximately 200 cm long and 140 cm high, this monumental bronze is particularly suited to a country estate, equestrian property, hotel grounds, landscaped garden or prestigious commercial setting. A timeless statement piece combining classical equestrian subject matter with the scale and durability of traditional bronze sculpture.
