Captivating mid-20th-century Neoclassical garden sculpture. Masterfully cast in solid concrete (reconstituted stone). This heavy, substantial piece features two beautifully detailed putti (cherubs) supporting an amphora-style water jug. Visually appealing from all angles.
This sculpture was intentionally designed as a functional spouted fountain element. The mouth of the amphora features an open plumbing channel, allowing it to be easily integrated into a dynamic water feature or basin, though it displays just as beautifully as a standalone tabletop or patio accent.
The concrete figures measure about 18 inches tall and the base is 8 inches in diameter. It weighs about 28 pounds.

It boasts a spectacular, authentically aged character achieved through decades of outdoor exposure. The heavy surface pitting, mineral deposits, and subtle mossy discoloration create a highly desirable, rich weathered patina that cannot be replicated by artificial aging. less
