A gorgeous 19th century French Louis XIII revival period rectangular walnut stool, constructed with heavily detailed barley twist legs and matching H-form stretcher. The rich, historic dark hardwood frame shows exceptional deep patina and beautiful structural character developed over centuries of age and use.
The stool has been freshly brought into the modern era with professional new upholstery in a premium highly textured white wool and linen blend boucle fabric with double welt trim. A clean contrast against the rustic warmth of the turned wood base. A favorite accent piece in modern, traditional, or transitional spaces.
