The table features a beautifully shaped demi-lune top with a rich mahogany surface displaying attractive natural grain and warm tonal variation. Delicate satinwood and ebony stringing provides an elegant contrast to the mahogany, highlighting the curved outline of the table and demonstrating the refined decorative craftsmanship associated with Georgian cabinetmaking. The table is raised on four slender square-section legs, giving the piece a light and sophisticated architectural profile while providing a stable and practical base. Its restrained design and balanced proportions are characteristic of the elegant furniture produced during the Georgian period.

At 130 cm wide yet only 56 cm deep, the demi-lune form makes this an especially versatile piece for interiors where space is important. It would work beautifully as a console table within an entrance hall, a side table in a drawing room or as an elegant decorative table positioned against a wall. The mahogany has developed a particularly attractive rich colour, complemented beautifully by the contrasting satinwood and ebony detailing. A refined and highly decorative example of Georgian English furniture, combining practical proportions with elegant period craftsmanship. Presented in good condition and ready for use.
