Finished in a weathered grey surface with areas of natural oxidation and surface rust, the sculptures have an appealing aged character particularly well suited to traditional gardens and period architecture. The substantial ball-and-stepped bases give the figures the appearance of grand architectural finials and allow them to stand as decorative features in their own right. Particularly effective positioned as a pair at either side of an entrance, gateway or pathway, they could equally be placed amongst planting or used as statement features within a courtyard, terrace or landscaped garden.
