The dresser is arranged with three useful drawers across the upper section, providing generous storage while maintaining a balanced and attractive façade. Each drawer retains its original brass handles, adding authenticity and an appealing decorative contrast against the richly coloured oak. The piece is raised on distinctive bobbin-turned legs, a particularly attractive feature of the design, united by substantial supporting stretchers that provide both visual interest and structural stability. These architectural details give the dresser a strong Jacobean-inspired appearance while retaining elegant proportions. Throughout, the oak displays an attractive natural grain, rich warm colouring and established character, highlighting the quality of the timber and traditional craftsmanship. At 142 cm wide, the dresser provides a generous surface for displaying lamps, artwork, ceramics or decorative objects, while its three drawers offer practical concealed storage. Its versatile proportions make it particularly suitable for a dining room, kitchen, hallway, drawing room or living space. Presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and historic use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. A highly attractive example of English Jacobean Revival furniture, combining beautifully figured oak, original brass handles, three useful drawers and distinctive bobbin-turned supports within a substantial and timeless design.
