Each spoon features a generously proportioned bowl paired with a plain tapered stem, creating an elegant and well-balanced profile. The surfaces are finely hand engraved with delicate foliate motifs, while traditional rat-tail terminals provide a subtle decorative finishing detail. One spoon retains its original gold-wash gilding to the bowl, providing an attractive contrast with the polished sterling silver and highlighting the original character of the pair. Both spoons bear matching Sheffield hallmarks for 1905 and have a combined net silver weight of approximately 158 grams.

Presented in very good antique condition with no noted damage, bruises or repairs. They remain free from later engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms and retain a beautiful bright patina.
