The teapot features a panelled ovoid body surmounted by a finely hand-pierced gallery rail decorated with foliate motifs. A fruitwood handle and turned finial provide an attractive contrast to the polished sterling silver body while complementing the traditional character of the design. The piece is raised upon a circular stepped pedestal base, creating a well-balanced and refined profile. The generously proportioned spout and substantial handle make the teapot both decorative and practical for serving.
