The generously proportioned rectangular top provides a substantial practical surface, framed to the rear by a raised gallery that adds architectural interest while retaining the traditional character of the piece. The front is designed with two decorative faux drawer fronts, each fitted with an attractive crystal handle. These details provide an elegant contrast against the warm golden oak and give the washstand a distinctive decorative quality. The piece is raised upon finely turned legs united by a substantial supporting stretcher, providing excellent strength and stability while creating a beautifully balanced silhouette.
