The upper section features an attractive tiled splashback composed of rich green ceramic tiles, introducing colour and texture while retaining the practical purpose for which washstands of this form were originally designed. The tiled section gives the piece a particularly distinctive Arts and Crafts character. Below is a substantial grey marble worktop, providing an elegant natural contrast against the warm tones of the oak. The inherent veining and tonal variation of the stone further enhance the decorative appeal of the piece.
