The chest is arranged in the classic configuration of two smaller drawers above three larger graduated drawers, providing five drawers in total and offering generous storage within relatively compact proportions. Each drawer retains its original decorative handles, preserving the character and integrity of the piece. Particularly appealing is the decorative treatment of the cabinet work.
