Signed Accolay, this Burgundy workshop is among the finest representatives of Mid-Century studio ceramics, and this piece is a particularly successful example. The shape is generous and full, but it is the glaze treatment that immediately captures the eye with its gradient glaze, typical of Accolay pieces, creating a contrasting, elegant, and deep effect. The most distinctive feature is the three teardrop-shaped perforations that pierce the surface. These openwork details, characteristic of Accolay, transform the vase into a true sculptural object, playing with light and texture.

The piece is antique and in very good condition. It is signed on the base.
