The standing cow is painted with warm reddish-brown markings beside a young herdsman whose expressive face, broad-brimmed hat, colorful costume, and gold-colored trim give the composition unusual character.

Green and yellow details animate the pastoral base, while the glossy glaze has developed an extensive network of fine crackle crazing that contributes softly aged surface texture. Measuring 10 inches wide and weighing 2 lb, the figure has strong decorative presence on a mantel, sideboard, dresser, or collected pottery shelf. Its folk-art modeling and hand-finished decoration suit English country-house, cottagecore, traditional, and farmhouse interiors.

The figurine remains in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
