The stylized equine figure stands on traditional curved wooden rockers, its carved silhouette and painted surface giving the piece an engaging sense of movement even at rest.

Dating approximately to the mid-20th century, the horse reflects the rustic individuality associated with Mexican decorative folk art rather than modern children’s play furniture. Measuring 15 inches long by 12.5 inches high and 4.75 inches wide, it has enough presence for an antique cabinet, substantial bookshelf, console, or layered display of Latin American objects.

Its aged character works particularly well in Southwestern, Mexican Colonial, farmhouse, rustic, and eclectic settings. A repair to the rocking base is present and is part of the disclosed condition.
