Executed in painted and leaded glass, the composition reflects the revivalist fascination with medieval craftsmanship and iconography that characterized the Neo-Gothic movement at the turn of the century.

The central figure is portrayed wearing a striking robe of vivid blue and red, accented by a golden bodice and elaborate headdress. Seated at a finely rendered spinning wheel, she is surrounded by decorative architectural and interior details, all outlined by flowing lead cames that contribute to the panel's distinctive handcrafted character. A green chequered floor provides a lively contrast to the warm amber and deep brown tones of the background glass.

When illuminated, the coloured glass creates a beautiful interplay of light and colour, making this panel equally suitable for hanging in a window or displaying as a decorative wall piece. The combination of medieval-inspired subject matter, vibrant colours, and skilled painted detailing makes it an attractive example of Belgian decorative arts from the Neo-Gothic period.
