The cabinet features a curved glass front, mirrored interior and drop-leaf access door to the rear. Particularly usefully, the complete glazed cabinet can be removed from its supporting frame, allowing it to function independently as a countertop display case. Originally intended for displaying jewellery and other valuable merchandise within a department store or similar commercial environment, it now makes a striking collector’s or interior display cabinet.
