Made in heavy-gauge solid … Read more A fine Edwardian sterling silver hip flask by George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, hallmarked Chester 1904. Made in heavy-gauge solid sterling silver, the flask has a restrained plain domed form with a hinged cover. The base is detachable and can be used independently as a drinking vessel. Both components bear identical hallmarks. The flask remains in very good condition, with no damage, holes or repairs to the silver and only minor age-related surface marks. The bayonet-action cover closes securely, and the cork stopper has been professionally replaced. The flask is clean, ready for use and does not leak.
