Green and earthy brown glazes run across a pale ground, with a glossy finish. It belongs to Clarice Cliff’s ‘Le Bon Dieu’ range and measures approximately 16 cm high, including the handle. The base bears a short verse beginning “I think that I shall never see”, followed by the Clarice Cliff name and the date 1932. Overall condition is very good, with no reported chips, cracks or repairs. Two small discoloured patches remain inside the bottom, alongside light wear consistent with use and age. See less
