Constructed from country oak with an attractive medium oak colour and well-developed period character, the cupboard retains its original back and displays traditional pegged construction throughout. The upper section is enclosed by two doors, opening to reveal a generous hanging compartment fitted with a brass hanging rail. Below are two functional drawers accompanied by two dummy drawer fronts, maintaining the balanced appearance of the façade. The cupboard is fitted with old brass handles, although these are later replacements rather than the originals. It stands on traditional bracket feet, complementing its understated Georgian country character. For ease of transportation and installation, the cupboard separates into two sections.
