The cabinet features a pair of cupboard doors to the front, providing a generously proportioned concealed storage area while maintaining a beautifully balanced appearance. Both doors retain their original handles and fittings, complementing the traditional character of the piece. Particularly attractive is the carved linenfold decoration across the façade, a design strongly associated with traditional English furniture. The carved panels introduce depth and texture while reflecting the historic influences for which Old Charm furniture is particularly recognised. The cupboard is raised upon attractive turned legs united by supporting stretchers, providing excellent strength and stability while creating a traditional architectural silhouette. The oak itself displays pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Rich, warm tones and an appealing aged patina enhance the carved surfaces and give the cabinet considerable character. Very well constructed and presented in good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its 20th-century origin. At only 91 cm wide and 72 cm high, this is a particularly versatile Old Charm piece, offering useful concealed storage without the scale of a larger cabinet. It would work beautifully as a side cupboard, hall cabinet, drinks cabinet or occasional storage piece within a living room, dining room or country-house interior.
