The composition features a beast-headed prow, billowing sail, and a stern pennant embossed with a smiling radiant sun, set above rolling curvilinear waves populated by two scaled fish. The copper panel is riveted into a forged brass frame with scrolled strapwork feet and a top carrying handle stamped with the KSIA mark. It measures 84.5 cm high by 49 cm wide (33¼ by 19¼ inches) and preserves an unpolished, dark antique patina with minor surface marks from age and hearth use. See less
