The cabinet comprises sixteen glass-fronted drawers arranged in four columns, providing extensive storage while allowing the contents to remain visible. Each drawer retains its original metal handle and original glass, preserving the authentic commercial character of the piece. The lower section incorporates two sliding doors opening to additional storage space, making the cabinet both highly decorative and practical. The drawers continue to open and close smoothly. The beech displays an attractive natural grain and rich honey tone and has been waxed to enhance the character and patina of the timber. Originally designed as commercial shop furniture, the cabinet would now make a striking statement piece within a reception room, bedroom, hallway or retail interior, while its numerous drawers provide versatile storage and display possibilities. Presented in excellent vintage condition with appropriate signs of age and historic use.
