The architectural upper gallery is enriched with hand-carved acorn decoration, lending the piece a distinctive naturalistic character associated with the Arts and Crafts tradition. Eight original brass coat hooks are arranged across the upper section, providing generous practical hanging space. At the centre is the original mirror, positioned above a small projecting shelf and a useful hinged storage compartment. The lower section incorporates dedicated umbrella storage with two drip trays positioned at the base. The warm oak has developed an attractive aged patina, while the combination of carved decoration, brass fittings and restrained construction gives the stand considerable period character. Standing two metres high, the hall stand has an imposing yet practical presence and would make an excellent feature within an entrance hall, reception area or traditional interior. Presented in good original antique condition with appropriate signs of age and historic use. The hall stand remains structurally sound and fully functional.
