The charger is distinguished by its unusual lobed perimeter, giving the piece a more sculptural profile than a conventional circular dish. Its early date makes it an appealing example of 17th-century Japanese porcelain production. The seller describes the charger as being in very good condition, noting only a small area of glaze loss to the rim.
