The base is richly decorated and incorporates a prominent heraldic crest of arms, giving the table a grand architectural character. Gilt detailing provides an attractive contrast against the darker cast iron framework. The substantial marble top is white with natural grey veining and complements the elaborate base beautifully. The table separates into two sections for easier transportation and installation. Presented in good vintage condition and structurally sturdy. There is some age-related wear to the gilding, minor nibbles along the back of the marble and general knocks and marks consistent with age and use.
