An elegant Art Nouveau period adjustable table lamp, combining a sculptural brass and copper-alloy frame with an attractive ribbed glass shade. The lamp displays the flowing proportions and restrained organic character associated with Art Nouveau lighting, while its adjustable construction allows the shade and light projection to be positioned as required. The ribbed glass shade provides an appealing contrast to the warm metallic surface of the frame and remains free from reported damage. A particularly decorative period lighting piece suitable for use as a desk lamp, reading lamp or accent light within both traditional and contemporary interiors. The lamp is currently in full working order, although the seller offers it as an ornamental antique electrical item. No damage is reported to either the lamp or glass shade.
