A distinctive antique industrial table lamp fashioned around a traditional candy roller mechanism, combining the character of an early utilitarian object with functional decorative lighting. Constructed in brass and steel, the piece retains the strong mechanical aesthetic associated with vintage industrial equipment. Its sculptural form, aged metal surfaces and unusual origins give it considerable presence as an accent lamp, particularly suited to industrial, eclectic or contemporary interiors. Now configured as a corded electric table lamp, it represents an appealing example of repurposed industrial design and makes an unusual statement piece for a desk, console or side table.
