The octagonal top is raised upon elegant reeded and turned legs, joined below by an elaborate arrangement of spindle gallery stretchers surrounding a decorative central finial. The architectural geometry of the octagonal top contrasts beautifully with the turned and reeded detailing of the base, creating a particularly attractive example of late Victorian and Edwardian transitional furniture design. The table retains its original castors, adding both historic integrity and practical functionality. Presented in good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound throughout, with an attractive established patina.
