Super fine hand-knotted silk rug featuring a garden panel design with a grided layout of floral, tree, and vase motifs.
A highly detailed and intricate hand-knotted Persian garden design rug, featuring a grid pattern of individual square panels filled with stylized floral motifs, weeping willows, and tree of life imagery. Although the geometric panel layout is historically characteristic of traditional tribal Bakhtiari weavings, more recent versions with this level of extremely high knot density, intricate detail, and soft color palette are typically woven in fine workshops, in central Iran city of Qum using pure silk.
