An authentic 1940s tropical modernist demilune side table from the highly collectible "Rattanage" line, manufactured by La Proveedora, Inc. of Honolulu, Hawaii. This exceptional mid-century piece beautifully captures the essence of elite Hawaiian modernism, blending sleek Streamline design with organic, island-sourced materials.
The table features a beautifully structured, half-round frame crafted from premium thick-pole rattan, detailed with stylized ladder sides and tight structural wraps. The two tiers of solid mahogany surfaces provide an elegant, warm contrast to the honey-toned rattan body. These half-moon tables were originally produced as versatile accents perfect as individual wall-hugging entry consoles, sofa side tables, or as a nightstand between Twin beds.
The original, highly coveted "Rattanage / La Proveedora, Inc." manufacturer decal remains intact on the underside of the frame, providing absolute authentication for collectors.
