A laurel wreath and five stars frame the heraldic motif, while a repeating foliate pattern circles the rim. The relief work gives the design depth under a glossy, creamy off-white glaze. Its round form and shallow profile make it a distinctive serving piece or a decorative accent on a dining table, sideboard, or display shelf. The restrained single-color palette keeps attention on the sculpted details, from the feathers of the eagle to the repeating border, and allows the piece to sit comfortably alongside other vintage ceramics.

Measuring 13.25 inches in diameter and 1 inch high, the platter is a versatile size for a table setting or display. It is in excellent vintage condition, with its original smooth, glossy finish and well-preserved relief detailing. The glaze is consistent and unmarred, and there are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The combination of Italian ceramic craftsmanship, a symbolic eagle design, and careful preservation gives the piece visual presence without relying on color or elaborate ornament. It is an appealing choice for someone collecting vintage European ceramics or looking for a platter with a traditional motif. See less
