A wonderfully charming early 20th century French tole cachepot finished in an emerald green with delicate gilt embellishments and handsome brass lion head ring handles. Equal parts formal and playful, this petite vessel delivers an unexpected burst of color while maintaining a timeless European sensibility.
The pierced gallery rim, hand-applied gilt decoration, and aged brass accents give the piece an architectural quality that feels distinctly French. Though modest in scale, it possesses the kind of personality that designers often seek when layering a room with collected objects rather than filling it with larger statement pieces.
Perfect for a small orchid, potted herbs, fresh garden cuttings, or simply displayed among blue and white porcelain and antique books. It would feel equally at home in an English country house kitchen, a Palm Beach bar, or atop a lacquered bedside table.
