This oversized Rococo Revival turtle top table, dating to approximately 1880, features a white marble top set upon a richly carved walnut base. The table exhibits elaborate floral carvings along the apron and legs, characteristic of the Rococo Revival style. Its curvilinear form is supported by cabriole legs, which terminate in casters, allowing for ease of movement. A turned finial adorns the stretcher connecting the legs, adding to its decorative appeal. This piece is unsigned, a common characteristic of furniture from this period.
