Each sconce features two gracefully curved gilt brass arms supporting elongated ribbed white glass shades. The composition is structured around a geometric black lacquered metal wall plate, accented by a vivid red triangular detail that gives the pair a particularly graphic and sophisticated appearance.

The combination of warm brass, black and red lacquer, and softly diffusing white glass is highly characteristic of French postwar decorative lighting. The design is both architectural and elegant, making these sconces ideal for use on either side of a mirror, artwork, fireplace, console or bed.

The pair retains an attractive vintage patina, with minor signs of age and use consistent with pieces of this period, including light wear and small marks to the metal. Please refer to the detailed photographs, which form an integral part of the description.

Each sconce is fitted with two bayonet bulb sockets.
