We are selling this nice Continental European 19th century box. This box has attractive rosewood veneer surface. The lid has floral needlepoint surrounded by ripple molding and inlaid pewter. The front has inlaid mother of pearl vine with pewter stem. The box appears to be Continental, probably French or German, Mid 19th century. Some losses to the veneer.
Condition: Losses to the rosewood veneer. Nice little piece that would benefit from some restoration. Missing escutcheon.
