This decorative devotional object combines Gothic-inspired elements with the rich ornamentation characteristic of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century religious art.

The crucifix features trefoil terminals at each end of the cross, a traditional motif associated with Gothic church design, lending the piece a distinctive architectural character. At the center stands a finely cast figure of Christ beneath the INRI plaque, rendered with notable attention to detail.
The cross rises from a beautifully formed tripod base adorned with scrolling acanthus motifs, shells, and foliate ornament. The elaborate base provides both visual elegance and stability, creating a balanced and harmonious composition. The silver-plated surface reflects light beautifully and has acquired a subtle patina that enhances its antique character.

Ideal for display in a devotional setting, on an altar, mantelpiece, bookshelf, or within a collection of religious objects, this crucifix serves as both a spiritual symbol and a finely crafted decorative piece.

Good condition with normal signs of age and use. Minor wear and patina consistent with age contribute to its authentic character. See less
