A handsome antique copper dairy vessel, likely dating to the late 19th century, with a cylindrical lower body, stepped and flared shoulder, open neck, and two forged loop handles.
The vessel shows traditional utilitarian construction with visible seams and a richly aged copper surface. Years of use have produced areas of oxidation, verdigris, rubbing, and tonal variation, giving the piece considerable character.
Originally made for dairy or agricultural use, it now works well as a decorative vessel, planter, umbrella stand, or rustic kitchen accent.
