Executed in a restrained and devotional style, the sculpture possesses a serene presence enhanced by its softly carved features, flowing drapery, and balanced proportions.

The Madonna is portrayed standing on an elegant stepped octagonal base, a form inspired by Gothic ecclesiastical architecture and commonly found in religious sculpture of the period. The graceful folds of the garments and the intimate interaction between mother and child lend the piece a timeless sense of tranquility and reverence.

Its beautifully aged surface has developed a rich patina that accentuates the carved details and contributes to its authentic character. Whether displayed in a devotional setting, a collection of religious art, or as a decorative object within a historic or rustic interior, this sculpture offers both spiritual and sculptural appeal.
