Each features a sculptural tiered construction with softly rounded corners, a single drawer, and open shelving extending along the sides. The nightstands are finished in richly figured rosewood veneer, with pronounced linear grain and warm tonal variation emphasizing their architectural form. Each drawer retains a simple round brass pull, while the cases are raised on four tapered legs with subtle stepped detailing. The subtle variation in height gives the pair a charming his-and-hers character. The pair has been structurally revised and refinished, highlighting the rich color and distinctive grain of the rosewood while retaining character appropriate to their age. Their compact proportions and unusual open-sided design make them particularly versatile as nightstands or side tables.
