A beautiful set of four Model No. 80 dining chairs designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark. A classic example of Danish and Scandinavian Modern design, the Model 80 is known for its beautifully sculpted frame, gently curved backrest, tapered legs, and refined, understated silhouette.
The warm wood frames and upholstered seats highlight the clean lines and exceptional craftsmanship associated with Møller’s mid-century designs. Elegant without being overly delicate, these chairs work beautifully around a dining table while retaining the sculptural quality that has made Niels Otto Møller furniture so collectible.
A matching dining table is currently being professionally refinished and will also be available for separate purchase. Please inquire for additional information or availability.
Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. All four chairs are structurally sound and show slight sun fading to the wood, along with minor surface wear and finish variations associated with age. One upholstered seat has a slight indentation with the beginning of a small tear, as pictured. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
