Here is a handsome vintage wastebasket by Ransburg, dating to about the 1960s. The oval form features an exterior wrapped in vertical wood slats with a warm natural finish, arranged in a geometric pattern.
The wood exterior contrasts beautifully with the gold painted metal interior and visible rim. The gently rounded silhouette and repeating linear design give this utilitarian piece a distinctly Mid-Century Modern feel.
Retaining its original Ransburg manufacturer's label on the underside, this wastebasket is both decorative and functional, ideal for a home office, study, bedroom, or bathroom.
