Rattan strands are interlaced in an intricate, tightly controlled pattern that is as structural as it is decorative, giving the basket a sturdy, stable base and a gently rounded, organic silhouette. Natural variation in the material adds depth, with darker strands woven among lighter tones to create dimension and visual rhythm across the surface, while a rich, warm finish and mellow patina speak to decades of age and care. Its balanced, symmetrical proportions make it as appealing on display as it is useful in daily life. Use it to corral throws or magazines in a living room, hold towels in a bath, organize keys and mail in an entry, or showcase fruit, plants, or collected objects on a console or coffee table. The natural texture warms Boho, coastal, organic modern, and traditional interiors alike, adding a handmade, collected note to any room.

Measuring 14.5" W x 14.5" D x 9.75" H, the basket offers generous capacity in a compact footprint. It is in very good vintage condition. The woven rattan structure is intact with a rich, original finish and warm patina, and minor surface wear consistent with age does not detract from its overall appearance. The basket is structurally sound and ready for use or display. As with all vintage pieces, minor signs of age and use may be present; please review the photos carefully as part of the condition description. See less
